“Headspace for the Workplace” Podcast

Earlier this year I was invited to be on a podcast, “Headspace for the Workplace”, hosted by Dr. Sally Spencer-Thomas to discuss the work I have been doing in neuroscience coaching and leadership. I am excited to announce that “How to Harness the Power of the Whole Brain – Understanding Neuroplasticity to Change Patterns in Life and Leadership” has been posted on her website. https://www.sallyspencerthomas.com/headspace/23

To provide a little background, it was January 1st, 2023, and I was reading the Sunday edition of the Star Tribune. It was the front page of the Science & Health section that piqued my interest with an article titled “How to get men into therapy”.  In the article Dr. Sally Spencer-Thomas, President and Co-Founder of United Suicide Survivors International, and Arthur Evans Jr, CEO of the American Psychological Association spoke to the “…growing recognition that we have to reframe mental health care and our approach to addressing the mental health needs of men.”

I connected with Dr. Sally Spencer-Thomas later that month about the work she does and how I might support her work with my coaching. Sally is a speaker, trainer, and consultant working to improve mental health programs and suicide prevention awareness in the workplace. Read more about her at https://www.sallyspencerthomas.com/about.  She has two Podcasts, “Hope Illuminated” and “Headspace for the Workplace.”  https://www.sallyspencerthomas.com/podcasts.

Mental health is a growing concern, and the work she is doing to increase awareness and support is crucial. Encourage family, friends, co-workers to seek support at all stages of life. Life is tough, even under the best of circumstances, and there are so many options for support.

I work to support individuals, of all ages, through my coaching. It is building self-awareness, clarity of vision and values, and confidence, that provides a solid foundation to stand on when challenges arise.
