“A friend of mine recommended meeting with Sue, as I was struggling with my confidence in a new leadership role. This was my first experience working with a coach and Sue exceeded all of my expectations. I admit that I expected Sue to “give me all the answers”, but little did I know that it was up to me to find my own. Sue guided me through a journey of self- reflection and growth that has significantly helped me become a better leader and a better person.“

Leadership is a way of being. Acting with integrity, maintaining a positive approach, and being consistent in your words and actions. It is following through with your commitments.
Leadership is a way of interacting with others; it is encouraging input from others and listening with an open and non-judgmental mindset. It is being respectful of the perspective of others no matter their age, ethnic background, gender, or position in life.
Leadership is sharing your knowledge and empowering others to be all they can be.
There are so many definitions of what people believe to be leadership. Generally you will find that most people believe that “Leadership” is an entity, a group of appointed individuals that have been put in place to provide direction to others.
Leadership is the responsibility of each one of us. We are all responsible to lead, even if just our own lives, and to positively impact every situation. We can all impact a situation regardless of our role – at work, at home and in life.
Being a great leader begins with self-awareness, it is having a vision, engaging others in the vision and co-creating an environment that fosters respect and teamwork to achieve that vision, together.
